Project Overview

Founded in November 1998, Tencent is one of China’s leading providers of comprehensive internet services. The Tencent Tianjin Data Center, launched in 2007, is Tencent’s first self-built hyperscale data center. It can host over 200,000 servers and is one of the largest data centers in Asia.

Monitoring Scope: Five network module data rooms, two R12 module rooms, four high-density R12 module rooms, and two R18 module rooms.

Project Scale: A total of 13 modular data rooms.

Solution

Shenzhen Jitong established an integrated power and environmental management platform for the Tencent Tianjin Data Center. Through a unified platform, the system provides centralized display and coordinated control of each module and operational state, achieving a high level of integration and intelligent linkage. This solution ensures the data center’s high-density energy efficiency and rapid deployment capabilities, helping Tencent maintain a long-term PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) value around 1.3.

Monitoring Targets: The system monitors power distribution, UPS, pressure differential, PDU cabinets, air conditioning, ATS, temperature and humidity, water leakage, access control, early fire detection, and video surveillance.
