Vivo Communications Data Center

Project Background

The Vivo Communications data center includes the R3 and R6 data centers in Chang’an Town, Dongguan, as well as the Jiuxianqiao data center in Beijing. Covering a total area of over 5,000 square meters, it primarily supports the daily business operations of Vivo Group’s branches and organizational units across the country.

Monitoring scope: Chang’an R3 Data Center, Chang’an R6 Data Center, and Beijing Jiuxianqiao Data Center.

Project Scale

11 data center rooms and 1,600 cabinets.

Solution

By deploying a DCIM system, all power, environmental, and security equipment across the three data centers at two locations are centrally and comprehensively monitored and managed via direct monitoring and networked connections. The system also includes asset management and capacity management, integrates with the power monitoring system, and provides comprehensive control over IT assets and data center resource redundancy.

Monitored Equipment

Includes power distribution cabinets, batteries, UPS systems, precision row cabinets, circuit breakers, temperature and humidity sensors, water leakage detectors, fresh air units, dew point sensors, hydrogen detectors, differential pressure sensors, carbon dioxide sensors, dust monitors, and more.

Application Value

Rich north-south universal standard interfaces facilitate easier and more stable system integration and expansion.

Health operation reports are sent regularly at fixed times, with immediate alarms for abnormal events, enabling timely fault detection and reducing response time.

The combination of large data centers and networked monitoring provides customers with an efficient and convenient management and control model.
